Kids nowadays are more interested in those subjects that challenge their creativity and desire. Even the parents are encouraging their kids to try out things that will be more than mere education. The scenarios have changed a lot from the time when we were kids and our parents insisted that we should focus only in educating ourselves. There are several reasons for that. Earlier there were fixed styles of profession - one either became a doctor, engineer or an architect. Those who were braved joined the armed forces. And majority became teachers or professors. But everything has changed.
Parents are encouraging kids to be more vocal about what they like and dislike, so that the parents can encourage and advise the kids in the right direction. And if this trend continues, which it will, Artificial Intelligence or AI will dominate our lives. There will be a huge demand for people who know robotics and can create and work with robots.
