Some years before, workshops and seminars were conducted in my brother’s school by a robotics research institute as a learning programme for the students. He took part in the workshop and that was the first time robotics classes in Gurugram started as a subject for all schools and colleges. The agency is considered to be the most renowned agency in India and has served as a robotics specialist agency for the military and other sectors of India. The most exciting part of the workshop was after the government of India declared the subject to be one of the important subjects to be taught in schools and colleges the agency was given the authority to establish labs and robotics classes permanently within the school premises.
Due to the advancement of science and technology, the scenario of the global world has changed a lot. Robotics has proved to be the ultimate future to fulfil every need of human civilization. Robotics classes in Gurugram has made a revolution in the minds of small children from different schools. The agency which was given the authority to establish the required facilities to teach the subject in the school responded with a great development in building up labs and importing material for making robots from foreign countries.
The subject was made compulsory in some schools and special training was provided to the science teachers by the professor from the agency and other foreign universities’. In collaboration with other artificial intelligence and robotics research unit, the schools in Gurugram started a robotics championship which was under governmental aid. The competition was based on an inter-state level and the winning state team will get a chance to study robotics abroad. Robotics classes were also conducted over the internet. Certain websites have been linked with the agency’s portal from where a student can get study material and other tips on making robots. The subject is now a pot boiling issue in the arena of science and technology.
